Andrew is an avid gamer, artist, heavy metal and Senators fan, bowler and lover of all things cute or Japanese. He enjoys working with lots of images inspired by Japanese media such as anime and Godzilla.
His colours of choice are often purple, blue and pink, and tends to include variations of each in his creations. He is always up for trying new projects and derives a lot of inspiration form video games, anime, and the internet, as well as rock and metal music. He likes making work related to Sunny Bunnies and other characters he enjoys, like Melory and Cocotama. Each week at theSpace Andrew brings along music CDs or a special song playlist that comes with a fun Youtube video to share with all. He loves to watch video game walk-throughs and share his impressive knowledge of facts and information. Andrew hopes that his work inspires others to make their own artwork. He also advises new artists to continually practice drawing things that they like. His dream project is building his own car and making sure it's really fast! Andrew continues to showcase his detailed illustration style, alongside familiar subject matter. His work has been shared across the country, and most recently a selection of his designs were sold as part of the CAEH partnership with artists at theSpace. |
